Register for Brewer Youth Hockey!

Brewer Youth Hockey has an exciting year of hockey planned... full of fun practices, a terrific new game schedule, new tournaments and more! Register now so you can be a part of the 2010-2011 Brewer Youth Hockey teams! You will be able to register online in September. In the meantime, if you would like to register via mail, please download the 2010-2011 Registration Form or come to the LIVE REGISTRATION on Saturday, September 11 from 4-6pm at PIA.

Back by popular demand, if you pay your BYH registration in full (by September 18, 2010), you can enjoy a 10% discount! If you choose to pay with the installment plan, we made it easier on your pocketbook by having the payments now spread over 6 months! Forms and payments may also be sent to Brewer Youth Hockey, P.O. Box 594, Brewer, Maine 04412.

Here's how to register:

1. To start the process, you must first register FOR THE NEW SEASON with USA Hockey ($30 to USA Hockey plus $12 to MeAHA) prior to signing up with Brewer Youth Hockey. Simply log onto  www.usahockeyregistration.com and follow the instructions. You will need a charge card for this registration.

2. Next, download the Registration Form or fill out the new BYH online registration form in September. If you prefer a hard copy to fill out, you may click here for a downloadable 2010-2011 Registration Form.

3. The 2010-2011 Consent to Treat and Skater Code of Conduct forms also need to be filled out along with the Waiver of Liability and the Waiver IMR forms. PDFs are attached for your convenience. If you need a Transfer Request Form, click here. You can also download a Photo Release form.

Rates and charges

All Mites will register for the regular season at the $375 rate. Should your Mite play for the Select Mite team(s) during the second half of the season, an additional charge of $299 will be manually billed.

All Squirt, Peewee and Bantam skaters will register at the Tier IV level of $630. If a skater wishes to tryout for a Travel team, they will need to tryout for the Maine Freeze in Spring 2011.

If a family has multiple skaters, there is a $50 discount per skater after the oldest skater is paid at the full rate. Learn-to-Skate and Learn-to- Play do not qualify.

This year, payments may be spread out over 6 months!  The first 50% is due upon registration. Then the next 5 installments will be automatically billed to your charge card on  October 1, November 1, December 1, January 1, and February 1. This needs to be done online with a credit card. There is a one-time convenience fee of $10 for using a credit card. This will be added to the first installment or onto the total paid-in-full amount.

There is a 10% discount for paying your Mite, Squirt, Peewee and Bantam membership in full by September 18, 2010. After that date, a new online form will be posted and the discount will not be available.

Cost per skater for the 2010-2011 Brewer Youth Hockey Season is as follows:

Tier IV Squirts $630.00 (or paid in full rate $567)
Tier IV Peewee $630.00 (or paid in full rate $567)

Tier IV Bantam $630.00 (or paid in full rate $567)

$50 discount for each additional skater in the family. (Does not apply to LTS/LTP)
